It's strange now that I think about it, I was searching for GSD wallpapers on google and found a cool one from MT and somehow I got addicted to this place. Isn't it great when you randomly find something great, makes me wonder what other great sites are there.

I'm definitely in!

I suppose the greatest sin of those seven that applies more strongly to me is sloth. There are many things that I should do or things that I would like to achieve but I don't fight for them. Why is that?
Maybe because I'm scared of pursuing them, maybe because I find hard to let myself believe in God and myself and find more easy to just indulge myself in a slower state that the one that I can achieve. I do believe in God, but I haven't yet put all my faith in Him. I am still worried about the perversity and hardness of the world and don't appreciate myself as much as I should since I am a child of God. I'm happy though cause I am aware of my faults, so, at least in theory, I can change myself to be better. From those seven sins, I consider that two are the least present in my life: greed and gluttony. Good threat
P.S. Have you seen Full Metal Alchemist? There you can see the homunculus, creatures created by alchemists who tried to bring back to life their loved ones. There are 7 homunculus, each having the name of one of the seven deadly sins. It's a great story with wonderful characters. Sad though. If you haven't seen it try it out.

I definitely choose L's side. He is the true face of justice. Light has lost the capability to distinguish right for wrong, he considers himself to be the supreme judge, that is absurd. Nobody can so easily decide who can live and who must die. Furthermore, Light wasn't using the death note for justice since the beginning, he was only interested in his own psychopathic self. As a contrast, L played, more or less, by the rules. And in the end, gave everything on behalf of justice. Long Live L!

Quote by ealpha-scorpioIt depends, I'd say :) Some old animes are very incredible even by today's measures. They have incredible presentation and well-developed plot. They are few that can even surpass today's animes in terms of art and drawing. Personally, when it comes to details, I prefer hand-drawn animes. Everything looks alive and in motion. I still, find Gundam Wing incredible in spite of its age whether for its plot or graphics.

I must agree with ealpha-scorpio. What I am now wondering about is how much of the todays anime are made more for money rather than for art or fans. I regret not having an good overall look on the anime history and status.

I have never made an anime music video but I would definitely like to try making one since I love anime. Could someone please tell me what are the programs that are used in the process of making an AMV. I have created this thread in the hope that the programs and the steps required for making a successful AMV will appear here. Don't be shy in telling the rest of us your ways of creating anime music videos for fans.

I consider L to be the greatest. Neck in neck with Light. They are both sort off similar yet totally opposite. To best things about L are his mysterious past and charm, his wisdom and physical abilities, his sweet tooth and strange behaviour, his awkward and wise forwardness (I thought it was very cool the way he told Light the truth and played with him so he could be on top of things), his stubbornest and determination, and of course his great pursuit of justice.
P.S. I think Misa could have been much more interesting than how she was (I only sow the anime). Most people think she is not that smart. It is true that she behaves in such a manner but she does show a great deal of intelligence and bravery several times in the anime.

Quote by alminaRaito... he's the hero after all... the good guy... ^_^

What?! Light is most definitely not the good character here. His reasons for killing and the way he did that was wrong. He was not a good guy who tried to kill all bad people, he was a bored and morally troubled young genius with a diabolic inclination towards cowardly acts of killing who ended up being a mass murderer [...]

If I would have to choose I would definitely be on L's side without hesitations. He believes in truth and law. He made his goal in life to uncover and bring to the light of justice the tricksters that played with human live and expected to get away with it. No matter what his flaws might be I believe his actions are well intentioned and he is not a man who has the audacity to consider himself god. Light must burn in hell for taking the decision to become god and judge all humankind by his laws. Such an action is unforgivable and characteristic to a psychopath just like Light Yagumi was.
Or at least, that is my opinion.

I haven't watched SEED but I enjoyed Destiny and that was mainly because I wanted to see what happens to Shinn. I really liked this character and I can't imagine that I will find in SEED someone that I care about as much. To those that say Shinn is a spoiled brat and countless other things I just don't know what to say. Are they berserk?! I just can't accept the idea that they love Kira or Athrun and hate from all their heart Shinn. Why would you hate that guy? I won't start displaying his good sites but I encourage everybody to put them selfs in his place. We should be this considerate about any person and if they do that I can't possibly imagine that they will still call Shinn a spoiled brat or other name calls. Shinn ROCKS!
P.S. I ain't that enthusiastic about watching SEED but I guess I should see it since so much people loved it.

I suppose every person in love would like to say how did they fell in love. I for one don't think I ever was in love. But what is falling in love? I think that the sure thing, when the partners have the greatest chances for lasting together till the end is the stable love that comes after a long period of being together.
So ... please share your romantic experiences so others may learn from them (including me).
May everyone find their other half!

Oh, man! I seem to have posted the thread in a wrong forum. So be it.

I haven't watched too many animes but I feel like anime these days are much different from the 'old' ones. I am not that much of an expert so I leave you to answer. Isn't there a change in quality? I mean are the standards for anime increasing or decreasing. I for one seem to prefer those which are not that recent. Thanks for the answers of the experts! ;)

It's very hard to say which song it's better. But right now I'm reminded of the song Future, OST of Kiddy Grade. It just sits on my desktop and waits to be played over and over again. The themes from Bleach, GSD, Yu Yu Hakusho and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya are songs which I put in my play list and just relax and/or get juiced up listening to them. And the list will continue. Am I right?!
